Commonwealth Primary Care Celebrates Expansion of Glen Forest Office in Henrico
Henrico, VA
Commonwealth Primary Care (CPC), in partnership with the Henrico Economic Development Authority (EDA), celebrated the expansion and renovation of its Glen Forest office at 1800 Glenside Drive, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, January 21. The event featured remarks from CPC leadership and Tuckahoe Magisterial District Supervisor Jody K. Rogish.
The expansion enhances CPC’s ability to serve the community by adding capacity for two additional physicians, along with expanded nursing and administrative support. The investment reflects the practice’s on-going commitment to the greater Richmond region and to its mission of providing accessible, high-quality primary care services.
Renovations to the Glen Forest location include the addition of several new exam rooms, upgraded clinical and patient areas, a new mechanical entry sliding door, and refreshed interior finishes designed to enhance patient comfort and experience. In addition, the site’s Commonwealth Extended Care space, a walk-in urgent care clinic for existing patients, is currently being renovated and is expected to be completed in early 2026.
“We are so excited and proud to bring a newly renovated clinical experience to our patients at our Glen Forest location,” said Eric Hays, Executive Director of Commonwealth Primary Care. “The expanded space allows us to grow our care team, increase capacity, and continue providing the high-quality care our community has relied on for more than 30 years.”
The project leveraged resources from the Greater Henrico Technology Zone program and an Office Reimagining Grant, both part of Henrico Tomorrow, a comprehensive collection of incentives designed to elevate Henrico’s office spaces to premier status. With this investment, CPC joins other notable companies, including Kinsale Capital Group, Atlantic Union Bank, and Federal Realty Investment Trust, that have utilized Henrico Tomorrow to create dynamic, collaborative workspaces built for today and the future.
“Commonwealth Primary Care’s investment is making a meaningful impact in Henrico by improving residents’ access to healthcare and strengthening the local economy,” said Tuckahoe Magisterial District Supervisor Jody K. Rogish. “It’s exciting to see Henrico Tomorrow support a project that benefits our community in multiple ways, and we wish CPC continued success as they grow and help Henrico residents live their healthiest lives.”
The Glen Forest office is one of seven locations in CPC’s network serving the Richmond metropolitan area. CPC provides high-quality, patient-centered care that focuses on the whole person and is supported by the latest healthcare technology, making it readily accessible to individuals and families throughout the community.
