Transportation
Henrico is at the center of an extensive Mid-Atlantic transportation network, with 55% of the US population located within 750 miles. Access to major interstates, railways, ports, and airports makes it easy to get your products and people to their destinations.
Roadways
I-95 and I-64 – major north-south and east-west highway corridors – bisect Henrico. Just south of Henrico, I-85 connects the area with other southeast cities including Raleigh, Atlanta, and Montgomery. Henrico also owns and maintains the majority of its own internal roadway network – one of only two counties in Virginia to do so.
Rail
Freight service is provided by CSX, Norfolk Southern, and Buckingham Branch Railroad.
Passenger service is provided by Amtrak. Henrico is home to the busiest Amtrak station south of New York.
Port
Richmond Marine Terminal, just a few miles outside the Henrico border, provides direct barge service to the Port of Virginia.
The Port of Virginia is the only East Coast port that can currently handle post-Panamax ships as first and last port of call.

Richmond International Airport (RIC) provides service to over 3 million passengers annually.
RIC is equidistant from London and Los Angeles.
RIC handles 115 million pounds of cargo annually.
RIC is designated Foreign Trade Zone #207.
UPS and FedEx operate freight hubs at RIC.
Dulles International Airport is just 110 miles away, less than a two-hour drive, and offers direct service to approximately 50 foreign cities.
